3 killed in small plane crash in Chicago suburb

RIVERWOODS, Ill. (AP) - November 29, 2011

Authorities have identified two of the victims as 80-year-old John Bialek and 75-year-old Ilomae Bialek. They were from Streamwood. The third victim's name is being withheld pending notification of relatives.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory says the plane was carrying five people and originated from Georgia. Cory says the pilot reported fuel trouble just before crashing in Riverwoods, about 25 miles northwest of Chicago.

Authorities say the two crash survivors are expected to survive. Nobody on the ground was hurt.

Investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board are working to figure out what caused the crash.
