It happened around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of 23rd Street and Indiana Avenue.
When officers arrived they found the 24-year-old victim, suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he later died.
No word on a motive and no arrests have been made.
