The district attorney says Boyd took more than $7,000 from a former coworker in exchange for Eagles season tickets.
The coworker never received the tickets.
An investigation revealed several other victims allegedly were scammed trying to buy Phillies tickets from him.
Boyd faces several theft charges.
A preliminary hearing in the case is set for January 10th.
