The accident happened just before 3:00 a.m. in the 500 block of Adams Avenue.
The victim lost control of her car then crashed, splitting the utility pole, police say.
She suffered some head injuries and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
PECO arrived on the scene to make repairs and motorists should expect delays in the area.
