The accident happened around 5:45 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway, just north of Exit 5 in Marple Township.
The collision forced one of the vehicles to overturn.
Police say just the right lane was getting by as crews worked to clear the scene. However, both lanes are now clear.
So far, there is no word on injuries.
