Tree crashes onto power lines in Hunting Park

HUNTING PARK -August 29, 2013

The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. along the 3900 block of Ridge Avenue.

Officials say the tree fell from a nearby cemetery and brought down the wires from Allegheny Avenue to West Clearfield Street.

PECO was called to the scene to restore power.

Motorists should expect delays in the area.
