A woman was struck and killed by an ice cream delivery truck on Thursday afternoon in Allentown, Pa.

The accident happened around 4:00 p.m. near the intersection of Tilghman and 18th streets.

The view from Chopper 6 HD showed a box truck with a Jack and Jill logo.

The back of the truck was covered with a white sheet.

Initial reports indicated the victim was a child. The Lehigh County Coroner later said the victim was a 42-year-old woman.

Her name was not being released.

There was no immediate word on how the accident happened.

A police investigation continues.
