An eastern Pennsylvania man has been jailed on a charge of criminal homicide for allegedly stabbing a man in his home.

The Lehigh County public defender says an attorney has yet to be assigned to represent 27-year-old Pedro Rodriguez, who was arrested and arraigned in Sunday's killing.

Thirty-nine-year-old Robert Brandon was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital just after 8 a.m. Sunday. The Lehigh County coroner says Brandon's death stemmed from an unspecified incident at his Allentown home.

County District Attorney James Martin didn't provide details in announcing the charges Monday.

Rodriguez was jailed without bond pending a preliminary hearing Nov. 12.
