Woman robbed inside check cashing store on Broad Street

PHILADELPHIA - November 14, 2013

The incident happened at 2:30 p.m. on October 29, 2013 inside a store on the 600 block of North Broad Street.

The 63-year-old victim was using an ATM machine when she was approached by two men. One of the suspects demanded money while the other pulled back his coat showing the woman a handgun inside his waistband.

One of the suspects then went into through the victim's pockets, taking $218 in cash and her ATM card before telling the woman to walk away.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 40 years-of-age, 5'6"-5'9", 160-170 pounds, wearing a dark colored Fedora hat, dark colored leather jacket and light colored pants.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 40 years-of-age, 5'9"-6'0", 190-200 pounds, wearing a light colored jeff hat, dark colored 3/4 length leather jacket, light colored blazer, light colored pants and armed with a handgun.
