On Video: Port Richmond shooting caught on camera

PORT RICHMOND - November 19, 2013

The shooting happened around 2:42 a.m. on Sunday in the Port Richmond section.

Investigators say a 16-year-old was walking with two other people in the 2300 block of East Somerset Street when a dark-colored SUV pulled up in front of them.

That's when a man, armed with a gun, got out and tried to rob the group.

The three ran as the gunman opened fire. The 16-year-old was shot between the shoulder and neck and fell to the ground. He survived the shooting and was last reported to be in stable condition.

The gunman got back in the SUV, which sped away.

That gunman is described as a black male standing 5'11" tall, weighing 145 pounds wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt.

There was no description available of the others inside the car.
