28-year-old Nathaniel "Nate" Robinson, a former Giants defensive tackle, was arrested on weapons and drug charges Thursday night.
Robinson was pulled over for a traffic violation in Newark.
Officers say he had a loaded colt 45 handgun and ecstasy in his car.
