It happened along the 400 block of Arch Street in Norristown just after 3:00 a.m.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, plunged to the sidewalk from a window above a bar. He was found lying on the sidewalk.
He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with a critical head injury.
The incident remains under investigation.
