NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA - February 5, 2014 --
One person is hospitalized after a tree fell on a medical transport van in Northeast Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon. The incident was reported around 3:00 p.m. on Holme Avenue near Winchester Avenue.
Police say a tree fell on the vehicle, which was heading westbound on Holme Avenue.
The victim was taken to Nazareth Hospital with injuries considered non-life threatening.
It is unclear if the victim was the driver or a passenger in the van.
