The shooting happened shortly after 3:00 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot across the street from Club 121 in the 1200 block of South 35th Street.
A 28-year-old man was shot multiple times in the neck, back, side and arm. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead.
A 27-year-old man was smoking outside the club when he was struck in the neck with a stray bullet. He is in critical, but stable condition at HUP.
No arrests have been made.
