ARDMORE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A woman is recovering today after being struck by a train in Montgomery County.

It happened just after 10:30p.m. Wednesday in the unit block of Station Avenue in Ardmore.

Chopper Six HD hovered above the train station as law enforcement officials descended onto the scene.

Officials tell Action news a woman was waiting for a SEPTA commuter train when she leaned over to see if the train was approaching.

Apparently the woman got to close to the platform and was struck by an oncoming train.

Fortunately she was not seriously hurt.

She's currently being treated for a shoulder injury.
