Woman rescued from ocean off Atlantic City coast

ATLANTIC CITY (WPVI) -- A woman was rescued from the ocean off the coast of Atlantic City Monday night.

Atlantic City firefighters and police were called to the Rhode Island Avenue beach around 6:30 p.m.

Police tell Action News the woman became stuck near a jetty.

Firefighters managed to rescue the woman and bring her to shore.

They quickly performed CPR.

The victim was then rushed to the hospital.

There is no word on her condition.
