Kaitlyn, Britt talk 'Bachelorette,' perfect man
Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson speak out about the twist on 'The Bachelorette.'

LOS ANGELES -- Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson, the two women vying for one spot on Tuesday's episode of The Bachelorette, are revealing their thoughts on competing against each other and what they want in a man.

Both women said it was laughter that got them through the awkwardness.

"We're good friends, and we kind of support each other, but it's a totally awkward situation. It's absolutely odd," Nilsson said.

Twenty-four men have the power to vote one of them in, and the other has to go home. They said they went into this with eyes wide open, knowing they could be setting themselves up for another round of hurt.

"We also knew that we could possibly be in love, find somebody we want to spend the rest of our lives with," Bristowe said.

When asked about the perfect man, both preferred personality over looks, and humor over romance.

"Someone doesn't make you laugh, you're going to get over it quickly I think," Nilsson said.

And both women agreed they prefer a good butt over abs.

Find out who this season's Bachelorette will be on Tuesday 8 p.m. ET | 7 p.m. CT on ABC.
