Fire damages bar in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters were on the scene of a bar fire in West Philadelphia early Tuesday morning.

The blaze broke out just past 4:30 a.m. at the 63rd Street Lounge on Cobbs Creek Parkway and Catherine Street.

Crews arrived to smoke and flames showing on the first floor.

It took about a half hour for crews to place the fire under control.

So far, there were no reports of any injuries.

L & I was called to the scene to inspect the building damage.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
