11 families displaced in Berks Co. apartment blaze

CUMRU, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Red Cross is assisting 11 families and at least 31 people after a multi alarm apartment blaze in Berks County.

The fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. on the unit block of Community Drive in Cumru Township, Pennsylvania.

Fire crews were able to contain the blaze to one complex.

That building was left in charred ruins.

There were no reports of any injuries.

So far, there is no word on what sparked the blaze.
