Firefighters quickly get boat fire under control in Tacony

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters responded to a boat fire in the Tacony section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 1 a.m. Wednesday on the 5100 block of Princeton Avenue.

Authorities said the boat was found abandoned on the side of the road.

Responding crews were able to quickly get the flames under control.

No injuries were reported. It is not clear how the fire started.
