Body found in car outside Crozer-Chester Medical Center

UPLAND, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating the discovery of a body on the grounds of Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Delaware County.

Officers were called to the emergency room entrance of the hospital at 7 a.m. Friday.

A body was found in a car parked near the entrance, which is located at 1 Medical Boulevard.

There was no immediate word on the gender of the person found.

The Delaware County Coroner's Office is working to determine the cause of death.

Action News is told the hospital continued to operate normally as police began their investigation.
