Body of woman found stuffed in suitcase in Philadelphia's Kensington section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police were investigating Thursday after a woman's body was found inside a large black suitcase in the city's Kensington section.

Authorities said the body was found at about 9:50 a.m. near the corner of Kensington and Allegheny avenues.

The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
