HADDONFIELD, N.J. -- Health Department officials in Camden County are putting out an alert after another confirmed case of rabies.
Officials say a raccoon removed from a yard in Haddonfield has tested positive.
It was discovered by a local family last Sunday.
Their puppy has since been quarantined as a precaution.
Last month, a few other raccoons found in the City of Camden and in Haddon Township also tested positive for rabies.
Officials are urging neighbors to make sure all their pets are up-to-date on their vaccines and to avoid contact with wild animals as best as possible.
