Car slams into Police and Fire Credit Union on Broad Street

A brick pillar landed on the hood of the car.

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A car slammed into a Police and Fire Credit Union building in South Philadelphia Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were called out to the 3300 block of South Broad Street for a report of a vehicle that crashed into the credit union.

When they arrived they found that the car had hit the front brick pillar by the entrance.

The pillar toppled over onto the hood of the car.

There were no injuries in the incident.

Police are investigating what led up to the crash.
