Driver crashes car through front of Hatboro salon

HATBORO, Pa. (WPVI) -- A car crashed through the front of a salon in Hatboro, Montgomery County early Friday morning.

It happened at the Jordan Alexander Boutique salon on the unit block of South York Road at 12:30 a.m.

There was a considerable amount of damage to the salon.

First responders had to rescue the driver from his vehicle.

The owner of the salon, Diana Kalai, said she had recently renovated the salon.

Kalai said she is thankful that no one was hurt, however, her store still has a lot of repairs to be made.

'There's a lot of stuff that's not working now," said Kalai

Christine Brejcha lives above the salon and said she felt her room shake from the impact of the car hitting the window below.

"I heard an explosion crash, and my ten year old was in bed with me and I just grabbed a hold of her," said Brejcha

There is no word on the condition of the driver.
