5 injured after truck crashes into rehab hospital in Center City

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Five people were injured, one seriously, after the driver of a truck crashed into the Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Center City.

It happened at 8:16 p.m. Friday on the 1500 block of Race Street.

Police say a 38-year-old woman crashed into the sliding doors of the building.

Two males and three females, including the driver, were injured.

The victims were taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where one male victim is listed in serious condition.

The four remaining victims are in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.

Police AID and L&I are on the scene investigating.
