Person in custody after Center City robbery

Police say one person was taken into custody after a report of a robbery in progress in Center City, Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 2:00 a.m. Friday near 13th Street and the Convention Center.

According to police, the victim was approached from behind by two suspects.

They say the first suspect grabbed the victim's cell phone and fled south on 13th Street.

The second suspect then sprayed the victim with mace, knocked him to the ground and began choking him, police say.

The victim fought back and got lose and flagged down a police officer after the suspect grabbed his backpack.

Police arrested the second suspect, but the first is still on the loose.
