Hazmat crews contain chemical leak at Temple University

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Hazmat crews contained a chemical leak at Temple University early Wednesday morning.

The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. on the 1900 block of North 12th Street.

Officials say nitrogen spilled from a tank in the school of engineering.

Firefighters evacuated the building. There were no students inside.

No injuries have been reported.
