A trust fund has been established to benefit Ryan McMillan, the 6-year old older brother of Scotty McMillan, officials announced Thursday.

WEST CALN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A trust fund has been established to benefit Ryan McMillan, the 6-year old older brother of Scotty McMillan, officials announced Thursday.

The Crime Victims' Center of Chester County, Inc. and the Chester County District Attorney's Office made the announcement.

"We have had heard, not just from people in Chester County, not just from people in the United States, but from people around the world," said Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan.

The case still has gone viral since the gruesome details became known.

Jillian Tait, the mother of Ryan and Scotty, and her boyfriend Gary Fellenbaum were charged earlier in the month with the torture murder of the 3-year-old.

The focus now turns to Scotty's brother Ryan, who survived similar abuse. He is now in the custody of relatives.

"It has been an incredible outpouring of support for Ryan," said Laura Sweeney, Crime Victims' Center.

"This tragedy has a point to it. It has a face we can put on it with Ryan and Scotty McMillan but the truth is, there are thousands of kids who abuse happen to across the United State every day," said Hogan.

The CVC of Chester County provides support to victims of crime of all ages.

The inquiries about helping Ryan McMillan have come in from across the nation and beyond.

Sweeney, the spokesperson for the center, is the mother of two young boys.

"It was heartbreaking to know that somebody could take the innocence away from two small children," she said.

"They know this little boy has seen and heard things that nobody should have to see, so how can they help going forward," said Hogan.
