2-alarm fire damages Chester County home

POCOPSON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Chester County fire crews battled an extra alarm house fire Tuesday night.

The fire broke out around 6:20 p.m. on the unit block of Ayre Court in Pocopson Township.

Arriving crews reported heavy fire coming from the garage of a single family two story home located on a cul-de-sac.

A second alarm was sounded and additional personnel was dispatched along with tankers.

The fire gutted the upper portion of the home.

There are no reported injuries.
