Man found shot dead in car in Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A 42-year-old man was found dead in a car after a shooting in Chester, Delaware County Friday night, and police are now searching for the killer.

It was around 9:40 p.m. when police responded to 15th Street and Shaw Terrace for the report of a shooting.

Upon their arrival officer discovered the victim dead in a car.

The scene was cordoned off and the medical examiner was called to remove the body.

So far, no word on a suspect or motive.

Police have not released the victim's name.
