Boy struck by vehicle in Germantown in critical condition

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- A boy is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of West Sylvania Street

Police say the boy is about 12 years old.

He was taken to Einstein Medical Center.

The driver of the striking vehicle remained at the scene.

Police are investigating.
