Garage fire in Clifton Heights, smoke seen for miles

A fire broke out in a garage in Clifton Heights, Pa.

CLIFTON HEIGHTS, Pa. (WPVI) -- Fire crews in Delaware County battled a Clifton Heights garage fire for more than an hour. The smoke could be seen for miles.

The fire started around 6:50 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of South Springfield Road.

Heavy smoke could be seen for miles as fire spread to multiple garages.

It is unknown at this time if there were vehicles in the garages.

The fire was brought under control around 7:58 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
