2 hurt in rollover crash on Schuylkill Expressway

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- Two people are hospitalized after a serious crash on the Schuylkill Expressway in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.

It happened before 5:30 a.m. Monday in eastbound lanes east of Montgomery Drive.

Video from Chopper 6 HD showed at least two vehicles involved. One was on its roof, one on its side.

Action News is told one person was ejected from one of the vehicles.

Two people have been taken to area hospitals.

Rush hour traffic on the three-lane expressway was down to one lane as police investigated and crews worked to clear the scene.

All eastbound lanes were back open by 6:30 a.m.
