The crash happened at 7:06 a.m. Thursday in the southbound lanes just south of Route 13.
The driver of a Chevy Malibu, identified as 35-year-old Wilbert Mable, was traveling northbound.
That's when police say he swerved left and his vehicle went onto the grassy median.
