NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- An out-of-control tractor-trailer crashed into a home in New Castle, Delaware.

It happened at 5 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Moores Lane.

Police say the driver lost control, hit a parked car and barreled through the porch and front wall of a home.

Rescue workers had to be free the driver from the truck.

He was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.

"I've lived here since 1983," homeowner Bob Iwanoski told Action News. "Second time a guy has hit a car on the street, come up this hill, and come into my house. Last time they tore the porch off. This time, they came in."

A tractor-trailer slammed into a man's house in New Castle, Delaware Tuesday morning.

No one inside the home was hurt.

Police are working to determine what caused the driver to lose control of the big rig.
