Trailer detaches from truck and overturns on Route 42 in Deptford, N.J.

DEPTFORD, N.J. (WPVI) -- A crash involving a truck and a detached trailer slowed traffic on Route 42 in Deptford, N.J.

It happened before 6:30 a.m. Monday in the northbound lanes north of the Route 55 exit.

State police tell Action News a trailer detached from a truck and overturned.

No other vehicles collided with the overturned trailer, and there were no immediate reports of injuries.

The incident blocked at least one lane of northbound traffic.

Chopper 6 HD was overhead as a tow truck arrived and crews worked to clear the scene.
