Delaware County man faces child porn charges

YEADON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Delaware County man is facing charges of possessing and attempting to distribute child pornography.

A search warrant was executed at the Yeadon home of 60-year-old Allan Wickersham on August 26.

During an interview with detectives, Wickersham admitted to possessing child pornography.

Several electronic devices were seized, including a desktop computer and laptop.

Officials say a forensic examination of the computers and devices revealed more than 5,000 images.

Wickersham is charged with attempted dissemination of child pornography, sexual abuse of children and criminal use of a communications facility, all felonies of the third degree.

He was arraigned and bail was set at $400,000 unsecured.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 20.
