Man chokes sleeping woman in Delaware home invasion

MAGNOLIA, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the man who put a mother and her young daughter through a terrifying ordeal in Kent County, Delaware.

The two were sleeping in the bedroom when an intruder broke in and began choking the woman.

This happened at 1:30 Monday morning on Flint Drive in Magnolia.

The woman fought off the man and the little girl woke up.

The intruder ran off.

Investigators have only a vague description of the attacker. He's six feet tall and was wearing a dark colored baseball cap.
