Pickup overturns after crash with motorcycle

MINQUADALE, Del. (WPVI) -- A pickup flipped onto its side after a crash with a motorcycle on Tuesday morning in Minquadale, Delaware.

The crash happened at approximately 10:45 a.m. in the northbound lanes of N. DuPont Highway (U.S. Route 13) at Memorial Drive.

The motorcyclist was rushed to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center with serious injuries, police say.

There was no immediate word on the condition of the pickup truck driver.

The highway was closed in the area for the investigation and cleanup.
