Dove helps driver avoid speeding ticket in Germany

VIERSEN, Germany (WPVI) -- A dove swooped in front of a motorist in Viersen, Germany, preventing police from correctly identifying the driver who was speeding.

The driver was doing 54 km/h in a 30 zone.

The dove's interference saved the man from a fine equivalent to $104 U.S. dollars.

Police decided not to pursue an inquiry, stating that the dove was also breaking the speed limit.
