Man found dead behind home in Dover

DOVER, Del. (WPVI) -- A 24-year-old man was found dead behind a residence in Dover, Delaware.

Police responded around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday to the 400 block of Aspen Drive after reports of a man lying unconscious in the rear yard of a home.

Officers arrived to find the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have identified that man as Tyler Parton after an autopsy was done to determine the cause of death.

His death was ruled a homicide by a gunshot wound.

So far, no information on a suspect or motive.
