Dunkin' testing plan to expand its perks program

Dunkin' is expanding a test plan that could tempt more people to earn rewards through its popular perks program.

The new update for DD Perks lets customers earn rewards regardless of how they pay.

Right now, customers have to pay using the chain's mobile app, or an enrolled Dunkin' gift card.

The chain is testing the expanded Perks program at 1,000 locations, and could roll it out nationwide if its successful.
