Boston Bombing survivors react on social media to Dzokhar Tsarnaev's death sentence

Dzokhar Tsarnaev was sentenced to death on Friday for his role in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing which killed four people and injured over 250. Now, survivors and families of victims in the bombing are reacting on social media after hearing the setence.

Sydney Corcoran, 19, and her mother Celeste suffered severe injuries in the bombing, with Celesete losing both of her legs.

Kim Donuhe, wife of Richard "Dic" Donohue who was injured following a shootout with the Tsarnaev brothers, expressed her reaction.

Rebekah Gregory lost her leg two years ago in the attack.

On Friday, Gregory tweeted saying she was wishing for the day to be over.

The Watertown Police Department also released a statement on Friday, commending the jury's decision while sending their thoughts and prayers to the victims of the bombing.

Adrienne Haslet, a victim who lost part of her leg in the bombing, tweeted in approval of Tsarnaev's sentence.
