VIDEO: Church looks to help Ebola stricken region
Members of a local church in Philadelphia are hoping to help.

Officials say this is the worst Ebola outbreak in forty years of tracking the virus. It has killed nearly 1,000 people in four countries in Africa.

The CDC is sending more people to the affected areas, including medical specialists and workers trained in disaster relief.

Members of a local church in Philadelphia are also hoping to help.

Victory Harvest Fellowship International Church has a large Liberian population.

They're collecting supplies to send to Liberia - things like gowns, masks, gloves and sanitizer - and they are asking for the public's help.

The church is also having a prayer service on Sunday.
