Man's body found in Center City pool

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- An elderly man was found dead and floating face down in an indoor pool in Center City, Philadelphia.

Police say the 76-year-old man had been in the water for days.

Hazmat crews were called to the pool located at 20th and Lombard streets to help remove the body.

Neighbors called police when they noticed the man's mail piling up.

They say the man lived alone and was depressed over the loss of his sister who lived with him.

Police say an autopsy will be performed.
