Man critical following shooting outside after-hours club in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a gunman shot a man outside of an after-hours club in Southwest Philadelphia.

Officers responded just after 5 a.m. Sunday to 61st Street and Elmwood Avenue.

A victim could not be found at the scene of the shooting.

However, a tip led officers to a man with a gunshot wound sitting in a van outside of Independence Mall.

The victim is in critical condition.
