PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Businesses everywhere are saluting our service members with free treats and services throughout Veteran's Day.
Many restaurants are offering a free meal or item from appetizers to desserts for veterans on November 11.
- IHOP is offering free red, white and blue pancakes to from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Vets can enjoy a free meal at Applebee's from a special menu and get a $5 coupon that can be redeemed Nov. 12-27.
- At Red Lobster, Veterans, active duty military and reservists get a free appetizer or dessert with a valid military ID on Veteran's Day.
- LongHorn Steakhouse is helping crave your sweet tooth by offering a free appetizer or dessert, and veterans and their guests will receive 10% off their meal.
- Head to On the Border where Veterans and active service members get a free create your own combo with a choose two or choose three selection. The offer is good for dine-in only and members must have a valid military ID or proof of military service.
- For meat lovers, Outback Steakhouse is giving Veterans a free Bloomin' Onion and a beverage. Outback also is offering active and former service members 15% off their meals and their families' Nov. 12 through Dec. 31.
- Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews says all veterans and active duty military can get a free Red's Tavern Double Burger and bottomless steak fries at participating restaurants nationwide. Red Robin is also donating $10,000 to United Service Organizations.
- At Ruby Tuesday Veterans can choose a free appetizer up to $10.
- Veterans can also head over to Buffalo Wild Wings for a free small order of traditional or boneless wings with a side of fries.
- Chipotle is honoring Veterans from 3 p.m. to close by offering all U.S. military, military spouses and veterans get a buy one get one free burrito, bowl, salad or tacos.
- At your local Chili's, veterans can enjoy a free meal from a special menu.
- Olive Garden is offering veterans and active duty service members any free entrée.
- Craving some Southern comfort food? At Cracker Barrel, vets can enjoy a free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake.
- Mission BBQ locations throughout the area are offering veterans and active duty military a free sandwich with a slide of cake.
In addition, many places are also offering free services and events to military members to thank them for their service on this Veteran's Day.
- At Great Clips, Veterans who get a haircut on November 11th will receive a coupon for a free hair cut valid through Dec. 31.
- To coincide with Veterans Day, November 11th is the grand opening of the Rothman Institute Ice Rink at Dilworth Park. The season will kick off with a Salute to Veterans celebration featuring patriotic music and an honorary ceremony and they're offering free admission for all soldiers until 11pm on Veteran's Day.
- While you're there, the Dilworth Wintergarden and Maze is a web of willow-branch archways trees and topiaries. Admission is free and it's now open for the season as well.
- Finally, the Franklin Square Holiday Festival Featuring Electrical Spectacle is already underway now through the end of the year. Admission is free, but food and drinks will cost you.
