Garden State Parkway sign changed to 'Clark Griswold'

CLARK, N.J. -- Someone changed a sign at an exit on the Garden State Parkway for Clark Westfield to read "Clark Griswold" on Thursday morning.

Griswold is the character played by Chevy Chase in 'Christmas Vacation.'

Sgt. Williams of the New Jersey State Police confirms photos of the sign posted on the internet were real.

The taped-on Griswold sign at the highway's exit 135 later was removed by the Turnpike Authority.
