More than $300,000 raised through 13th annual Gary Papa Run

EAKINS OVAL (WPVI) -- The numbers are in and it was a great year for the 13th annual Gary Papa Run.

This year's event raised over $300,000 for prostate cancer awareness.

This is a cause close to our hearts at Action News. In 2009 6abc sports director Gary Papa lost his battle to the disease.

Last Sunday, 3,500 runners and walkers took part in the Father's Day tradition, many of them were cancer survivors and their families.
